Akon is applauding Louis Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam for having Beyonce's back after cops called for a boycott of her upcoming Miami concert.

We got Akon arriving at LAX and he had stern words for the Miami chapter of the Fraternal Order of Police ... calling them "childish and petty" for being offended by her Black Panther-themed Super Bowl Halftime performance.
Anti-Beyonce Cops Are CHILDISH AND PETTY.
As we previously reported, Minister Farrakhan blasted Bey's critics and vowed to offer her protection.

Fresh off of her husband's primary victory in Nevada Tuesday night, Melania Trump is giving voters a glimpse into her life as the wife of Donald Trump.

The Slovenian former model opened up about life before and after her marriage to Trump and her husband's controversial presidential campaign in a rare interview that aired Wednesday on MSNBC.

"It's amazing what's going on, and we're having fun," the business mogul's wife told "Morning Joe" co-host Mika Brzezinski.

She also spoke of her own journey to U.S. citizenship, pointing out while her husband has had harsh words for undocumented immigrants, he's never disparaged those who have come to the U.S. legally.

"I follow the law the way it's supposed to be ... I applied for a visa. I went by the system. I went by the law, and you should do that," Melania Trump said.
Melania Trump Opens Up In Rare Interview
Melania Trump brushed off the criticism her husband has received over his controversial policy proposals, such as temporarily banning Muslims from immigrating into the U.S.

"We're prepared for that. We know people will judge him and call him names. They don't give him enough credit," Melania Trump said.

"What he said is it would be temporary, and it is not for all the Muslims. He wants to protect America," the potential first lady explained. "What's going on in the world ... it's very dangerous, you have people coming into the country, and we don't know who they are, and what they will do."

And despite his war of words and prolonged feud with Fox News host Megyn Kelly, which started when she asked him to explain a series of insults he's used against women, Melania Trump says her husband treats woman equal to men.

"Women are treated equal. He treats women equal. It's not woman or man, you are human," she said.

Melania Trump has been largely absent from the campaign trail, spending most of her time in New York with the couple's 9-year-old son, Barron. But last week, she addressed her husband's supporters after his win in South Carolina.

"I like to keep life as normal as possible for my son, Barron," she told Brzezinski.

She did reveal, however, that while she's largely quiet on the campaign trail, she communicates with her husband frequently and lets him know what she thinks.

"Do I agree with him all the time? No, and I tell him," she said. "Sometimes he listens to my opinion, sometimes he doesn't."

Beyoncé is certainly not the first celebrity to cause a stir by inserting race into her art, but there's a reason why her recent actions are resonating.

Quite simply, she is one of those stars of color who -- until now -- has been beyond race for the mainstream audience.

That was the basis of a recent "Saturday Night Live" skit that portrayed white fans freaking out about her "blackness," as conveyed by her new "Formation" music video and a Super Bowl halftime performance in which her backup dancers dressed in Black Panther-esque outfits.

The halftime show has prompted a number of discussions both pro- and anti-Beyoncé.

Nation of Islam Minister Louis Farrakhan backed the superstar during a sermon Sunday. Fans rallied around the singer on social media, and a protest at National Football League headquarters in New York ended up drawing only Beyoncé supporters.

However, police have argued that the imagery in the music video is anti-law enforcement, and her apparent tribute to the Black Panthers fell just as flat, given that group's history of tensions with authorities.
Why the Beyoncé controversy is bigger than you think
Departments across the country have been discussing symbolic stands against the singer, whose video also featured imagery closely aligned with the #BlackLivesMatters movement. One scene in the "Formation" video features a young African-American boy in a hoodie dancing in front of a line of police officers wearing riot gear; then, the words "Stop Shooting Us" appear in graffiti on a wall.

A police union in Raleigh, North Carolina, voted unanimously Tuesday night not to boycott off-duty security work for her upcoming show there.

The superstar's stadium tour kicks off April 27 in Miami, and the Miami Fraternal Order of Police has urged a boycott there.

In a statement posted on the group's website, Tampa Police Benevolent Association President Vincent Gericitano said his group's officers were "disgusted" with the Super Bowl show and Beyoncé's new music video.

The Nashville Fraternal Order of Police asked its members to not voluntarily work the concert there.
"If we volunteer to work her event, we're basically saying, 'you can say or do anything you want to when it comes to police officers, and we're just going to sit and take it,' " Sgt. Danny Hale, president of the Nashville Fraternal Order of Police, Andrew Jackson Lodge No. 5, told The Tennessean."We've been under attack for the past eight, 10, 12 months. Some things that are done and said are just not fair, and it's not right."
Authorities have been clear that they are not calling for officers to not do their jobs, just to reconsider working security for her shows, as some off-duty officers have done to make extra money.

"I can guarantee that if Beyoncé needs help anywhere, police would respond," said Sgt. Ed Mullins, president of the Sergeants Benevolent Association in New York. "She made a statement, and now law enforcement is making a statement. What's clear is that no one in the country is trying to resolve the issues between communities of color and the distrust of law enforcement."

Not everyone is backing officers who have called for the Beyoncé boycott, however.

One person tweeted, "The American police are bullying Beyoncé because she asked for police not to murder black people, please and thank you." Read more at:edition.cnn.com

When Jennifer Phillips went on the X Factor stage to audition little did she know that she would take everyone to church. So powerful was her rendition of Mary Mary’s Shackles she got four yes’s and a standing ovation from all four judges and rapturous cheers from the audience.

Gospel singer, Jennifer made it through to the next stage of TV talent show The X Factor after her amazing rendition of the Mary Mary song.

MOVING IN THE SUPERNATURAL: Apostle Jacob Muguraguri.
RAUNCHY dancer Beverly “Bev” Sibanda will be taking her sexually-charged dance routines to Pastor Paul Sanyangore’s Victory World International Ministries’ “Super Sunday” service where she is billed to perform, NewsDay has established.

The controversial dancer-cum-singer is likely to be the centre of attraction at the church, where Sanyangore will be launching new “anointing water” at Stodart Netball Complex in Mbare.

Although the church’s spokesperson, Andy Sanyangore could neither confirm nor deny that Bev would be performing at the church, the dancer’s manager, Hapaguti Mapimhidze told NewsDay yesterday all was set for the performance.

Mapimhidze said there was nothing wrong with Bev performing in nightclubs and at church because she also needed spiritual guidance.

Sanyangore said Bev was coming to church just like any other person in need of spiritual deliverance.
“Beverly and I are now going to Victory World International Ministries as we seek spiritual guidance. If we hear of a man of God who can bring deliverance to our lives, no one can stop us from going to the church,” Mapimhidze said.

“Bev is a musician and she has worship songs that she can sing in church. Everything that we do, we do it according to the environment.”

Bev and her manager were part of the congregation a fortnight ago at Victory World International Ministries after they were invited by a friend.

“At Victory World International Ministries we welcome everyone and as far as we know Bev might be seeking deliverance since she has not yet registered as our member,” Sanyangore said.

“I can confirm that Mathias Mhere will perform at the service as part of his welcome from his maiden United States of America tour.”

Among the musicians who have been spotted a the church’s services in the past are Mhere, dancehall chanters Killer T, Terminator, Tocky Vibes and Saiwe Chimbetu.

Mapimhidze said they were not going to the church for publicity, as many suggested when Bev joined Prophetic Healing and Deliverance (PHD) Ministries led by Walter Magaya.

“When we joined PHD it was after an invite from a friend. But when we quit, Magaya had to phone us to come back, unlike in this case we are going to the church to pray,” Mapimhidze said.

Give it a try, you won’t regret it.
Before April 1954:
0:05 the common belief, the universal belief
0:08 because it had been tried again & again & again, and people had failed
0:12 the belief was that man was not physically capable
0:16 of breaking the 4 minute barrier, that he could not
0:20 run a mile in less than 4 minutes.
0:25 When something happens to them, they begin to believe that that’s the way it is.
0:30 That’s the way it’s always been.
0:32 And they can’t see the possibility of it being any different.
0:35 (250 yards to go and Bannister takes over)
0:38 (watch his giant stride take him to the front)
0:40 (as he races the last lung-bursting… )
0:42 Roger Bannister came along
0:45 and he broke the 4-minute barrier!
0:49 Since that time, up to this day
0:52 Over 20,000 people have done it…
0:55 including high-school kids!
0:58 Twenty thousand people! What changed?
1:00 Here’s what happened when they got on the track:
1:02 They knew it had been done!
1:04 And because they knew it had been done,
1:06 there was a new belief!
1:10 …about this barrier that was “unreachable”.
1:14 And those twenty thousand people got in a race believing
1:18 knowing in their heart that someone had done it
1:20 that it’s possible
1:22 that they could do it
1:23 if someone can make that dream become a reality,
1:26 then you can make YOUR dream become reality
1:57 Eyesight and mindsight…
2:00 Eyesight is judging on what you see…
2:03 …judging according to appearances…
2:06 but mindsight is how you interpret what you see.
2:10 One guy said, “its not possible, it’s over, I’m finished! I can’t do it. I can’t make it.”
2:18 He surrendered!
2:19 “I’ve faced rejection again and again, I’m not going anymore! There are no jobs out there!”
2:25 But this other guy, he felt that in spite of the “no’s” and rejections…
2:30 …in spite of how bad the economy is, in spite of what the newspapers are saying…
2:36 that it’s possible. That “somebody somewhere, will give me a job.”
2:42 He just kept going! Thinking it was possible.
2:45 And guess what ladies and gentlemen? That’s what we have to do with our dreams.
2:50 Because things happen to ya in life, that you can never ever anticipate.
2:55 And many times when those things happen, you wanna give up!
3:01 Easy is not an option.
3:06I t’s hard living! Life is hard…
3:09 See it’s hard when, when you are forty-nine years old, been working on a job for seventeen years…
3:16 …and they come in and tell you “you’re finished” and give you one week’s severance pay.
3:22 And you gotta start all over again.
3:25 It’s hard handling just the tragedies of life. It’s hard.
3:31 When you’re working on something, and, and you put everything you have in it…
3:36 …and it doesn’t work out — you lose your money and other people’s money.
3:43 Know what I discovered? When you’re working at your dream, somebody said:
3:47 “the harder the battle, the sweeter the victory!”
3:51 It’s good to ya — why? See…
3:52 …what you become in the process that’s more important than the dream!
3:57 That’s far more important!
3:58 The kind of person you become
4:00 the character that you build,
4:01 the courage that you develop,
4:03 the faith that you’re manifesting!
4:05 Oh it’s, it’s something that– you get up, you look yourself in the mirror…
4:09 you’re a different kind of person, you walk with a different kind of spirit.
4:13 You’ve got to have that kind of courage, that type of determination, if you wanna make it happen.
4:18 It’s you.
4:20 You’ve got to take personal responsibility to make it happen.
4:26 You must have faith!
4:29 You’ve gotta believe in yourself!
4:32 You’ve got to believe in your abilities,
4:34 You’ve got to believe in your service, your company, your ideas!
4:38 Unquestionably!
4:40 You’ve got to have faith, and that faith gives you…
4:43 patience!
4:45 But it`s not gonna happen as quickly as you want it to happen!
4:49 New Voice: It`s yo` dream — if you want it to happen — get yo’ butt up and make it happen!
4:54 If you want it to happen — rise and grind!
4:58I dare you not to go back to sleep!
4:59 I dare you to get up!
5:00 And I dare you to chase yo’ dreams!
5:04 Old Voice: It’s possible you can win!
5:08 Whatever comes to you, don’t run from it. Don’t try and duck it, like most people do…
5:13 …drive toward it!
5:23 You wanna make your dreams come true? You gotta stay focused!
5:25 Some people’d rather get even, than get ahead!
5:27 Stay focused on where you wanna go!
5:38 Where’re you going with your life?
